elentoo

Elentoo for AI assistants

Hook Elentoo up to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client so antibody pricing answers come from our normalized index — not from a model guessing.

What it can do

Every tool reports no_match explicitly when nothing is found — the assistant is told not to guess or substitute. Limits: 30 requests/min, 20 results max, 50-marker panels.

Get a key

Keys are free for researchers. We only ask for an email so we can reach you if limits change.

Connect

ChatGPT (desktop app)

ChatGPT only supports OAuth for custom connectors (no API keys) and requires a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu). We support OAuth, so it works out of the box:

  1. Open the ChatGPT desktop app and update it — MCP needs a recent version
  2. Go to Settings → Connectors (sometimes under Apps & Connectors)
  3. Enable Developer mode under Advanced settings if you see it
  4. Choose Create connector (or Add custom connector)
  5. Name: Elentoo · URL: https://mcp.elentoo.com
  6. Authentication: choose OAuth
  7. When ChatGPT opens our authorization page, paste your Elentoo key and approve
  8. Enable the connector in a new chat via the + / Tools / Connectors menu

Don't have a key yet? Get one in the section above first — you'll need it during the OAuth step.

Claude Desktop

Open Claude → Settings → Developer → Edit Config, and paste the mcpServers block (replacing <YOUR_KEY>). The config file lives at:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "elentoo": {
      "url": "https://mcp.elentoo.com",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_KEY>" }
    }
  }
}

If your Claude build doesn't accept url + headers directly, the mcp-remote wrapper works on any version:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "elentoo": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.elentoo.com", "--header", "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_KEY>"]
    }
  }
}

Fully quit and restart Claude after editing the config.

Cursor (and other clients)

In your project root, create or edit .cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "elentoo": {
      "url": "https://mcp.elentoo.com",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_KEY>" }
    }
  }
}

Any MCP client works with the generic form: endpoint POST https://mcp.elentoo.com, header Authorization: Bearer elnt_live_….
